ITV have been working with us for quite a few years now. It all started with a full size ice box we created for a guest who was being cured of her phobia of ice, live on This Morning with Phillip and Holly.
Our ice sculptures also appeared on ITV’s This Morning when Percy and Clemente carved the busts of Holly and Phillip for the launch of Dancing On Ice (you can read about that here).
Our latest project with ITV featured on Good Morning Britain. Their weatherman, Alex Beresford, has confirmed he will be joining the fabulous (and brave!) line-up of celebrities on the new series of Dancing On Ice in 2018.
GMB needed an eye catching ice sculpture of their logo to feature on the show to mark their big announcement.
But wait - there’s a last minute new line up on the sofa! Here’s ‘Piers and Percy’. What a team! But we’d really miss Susanna Reid....maybe Percy should stick to sculpting ice for now.
ITV contacted us at very short notice for this project with a phone call the day before the show was due to be broadcast. With 24 hours to go, we got straight to work on a design.
Ice sculpting all completed, Percy arrived at the GMB studio around 6.30am – which meant he got to experience all the behind-the-scenes action and meet the team of presenters. Here’s Percy with Charlotte Hawkins.
With only 3 mins to actually set up the ice sculpture on set, Percy had to quickly get everything in position during the final ad break of the programme. This meant it had to be ready and perfect for the quick dash on set to get it in its final position.
Alex will be paired with professional ice skater Brianne Delcourt (centre below), who won the show back in 2011.
We’re working on something top secret with ITV right now - so stay tuned for updates!
